Spatial transcriptomics distinguishes growth patterns in colorectal liver metastases

With collaborators, we used in situ sequencing to compare histopathological growth patterns in colorectal cancer liver metastases. The study identifies distinct spatial molecular programmes in replacement and encapsulated or desmoplastic growth, linking tissue architecture to tumour biology.
