New tool identifies 3D overlaps in spatial transcriptomics

Our new open-source tool, ovrlpy, detects overlapping cells, tissue folds and inaccurate segmentation in image-based spatial transcriptomics. Making these hidden 3D overlaps visible helps researchers improve quality control and interpret spatial data more reliably.
